Our Farm

Raising Cattle Responsibly Since 2018

We have been providing families with wholesome fresh beef since 2018. Our cows are born and raised here on our farm in Caroline County, Virginia. We are a Beef Quality Assured Certified Farm. We are permitted with Virginia Department of Agriculture Services (VDACS) to sell meat, have a current business license, and are fully insured.

We use a rotational grazing system on our farm. Rotational grazing allows cows to get the nutrients they need and maintains the health of the forages and soil over the long term, all while keeping carbon in the ground instead of releasing it into the atmosphere. With rotational grazing, there is less need to feed cows’ grain or artificially fertilize the grass. Our beef cows are hormone free, forage raised, and grain finished for 90 days prior to harvesting. Grass fed only, is available upon request.

We have a closed herd and take bio security very seriously regarding our animals. All farm visits are by appointment only.

Our Story

Local Family Farm

We raise Red and a few Black Angus cattle in Hanover and Caroline County, Virginia. We take pride in our cattle and look for the best genetics when breeding.

Tim grew up farming, as he is a 4th generation farmer. His family dairy farmed until 1995. At that time they became a commodity farmer, specializing in growing hay for horse, goat and cattle. Tim still helps manage his fathers hay business. In 2010 Tim's father purchased a beef cattle herd. After several years managing his fathers herd, We decided to start a Red Angus herd. We were drawn to the Red Angus breed because of the docile temperament. Since then our herd has grown to approximately 40 cattle. Keeping the herd small allows us to maintain a happy and healthy herd.

We decided to offer fresh beef to consumers so that they can truly know where their beef came from. Being able to provide your family wholesome fresh beef is a great honor and one that we do not take lightly. We make sure all federal and state guidelines are followed, have the proper licenses and permits as well as being fully insured.
