Our Cattle
Cows
Our herd consist of mainly red angus cattle with a few black angus. Most of our cows are born on the farm. We do occasionally purchase breeding stock from other farmers that have the same farming philosophy as we do. We look for superior genetics when purchasing cattle.
Bulls
Our herd sire's name is Frank (Brown CH Frankly K5930). He was purchased from the RA Brown Ranch in Texas through a cooperative farm, Cedar Hill Farm in Jane Lew, West Virginia.
We also at times will use artificial insemination to help us add diversity and superior genetics to our herd.
