BEEF SALES AGREEMENT
This contract is between Turnagain Farms, LLC (seller) at 5623 Hewlett Road Ruther Glen, VA 22546 and _____________________________ (buyer) at (address) __________________________________________________

Upon signing the “Buyer Signature and Information” section of this agreement, the buyer understands and agrees to all of the provisions of the contract.
The provisions of the contract are as follows:

The cost of the beef will be $6.50lb. hanging weight, (which is determined by the processor on certified scales). State sales tax is added to the final price. This does include normal processing. Extra processing is at your expense. Quarter shares incur a $15.00 extra fee to quarter.

All beef is pasture (forage) raised, and grain finished (90days or less). Grass fed is available by advanced request only.

A deposit of $400.00 for whole and half, $200.00 for quarter, is due at the signing of this agreement.

Beef will need to be picked up ASAP from the farm when the beef is ready. Depending on amount of beef, you will need several large coolers. If you are unable to pick up the day we pick up from processor, a storage fee of $20.00 per day will be incurred for us to store.

The final balance, due to Turnagain Farms, LLC, for the price of the animal product, will be determined by the hanging weight of the animal after the animal is processed.

All deposits are non-refundable except as provided for in paragraph 7 and will be used as credit towards the total cost of the animal product.

In the event the seller will not be able to provide the product contracted, the deposit will be returned to the buyer.
8.Payment of the final balance is due when we get the hanging weight for the animal being processed. (NET 15 days). You will receive an invoice. If payment is not received, then you will forfeit your deposit and you will no longer be entitled to the beef. If you wish to pay at time of pick up, cash only is accepted, please let us know prior. If you wish to pay online using a credit card, a fee will be assessed.
Any checks should be made to Turnagain Farms LLC and sent to 5623 Hewlett Rd Ruther Glen, VA 22546. If your check is returned for non-sufficient funds, you will be unable to pick up your meat and you will be charged an additional fee of $45.00. Payment will then need to be made via cash within ten (10) days of notification of the returned check or you will lose your deposit and will no longer be entitled to the beef.
